What We Treat — South Surrey, BC
Vertigo is the false sensation that you or the world around you is spinning or moving.
What it is
Vertigo is the false sensation that you or the world around you is spinning or moving. It most often comes from the vestibular system of the inner ear — and the most common cause, BPPV, is also one of the most treatable concerns we see.
How we treat it
Assessment includes positional testing to identify the cause. For BPPV, repositioning maneuvers such as the Epley maneuver often resolve symptoms in a small number of sessions. For other causes, a structured vestibular rehab program — gaze stabilization, habituation, and balance retraining — helps your system recalibrate. If your presentation suggests a medical cause that needs a physician's input, we'll tell you directly and help you get there.
This page is general information, not a diagnosis. A one-on-one assessment is the right way to find out what's going on with your body.
